Eurocopter EC135T2 crash near Őrbottyán, Hungary

A Hungarian Air Ambulance EC135T2 landed beside a main road at Őrbottyán to collect a road accident casualty, without the crew noticing it was under a high-voltage line. On takeoff the rotor blades cut the cable, causing a short circuit, and the pilot made a forced landing on the grass below. No one on board was hurt, but a passer-by suffered minor injuries from the falling line. Investigators said training during a live mission contributed.
