Airbus Helicopters AS350B3e crash near Lukla, Nepal

Summary
A Summit Air Let L-410 struck two parked helicopters during a failed takeoff at Lukla Airport. This AS350 (9N-ALK) had its skid broken by the airplane wing and was shifted 8ft laterally. The crew escaped without major injuries. Three people were killed in the overall incident: the L-410 copilot and two policemen on the helipad.
