Summary
A helicopter crashed at approximately 4,700 metres (15,400 feet) altitude near Camp Barafu on Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. All five people on board were killed including two Czech tourists. The cause has not been determined. In June 2025, the European Union placed all Tanzanian air transport companies on their at-risk list following a series of accidents.
