Airbus Helicopters H125 crash near Taplejung, Nepal

Summary

An Air Dynasty Airbus H125 (9N-AMI, manufactured 2016, 1,280 hours) crashed at Sisne Khola Bhir, Pathibhara, killing all seven. Victims included Nepali Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari and the owner of Yeti Airlines/Air Dynasty. The helicopter entered IMC with snowfall and gusting wind shortly after takeoff from Pathibhara helipad at 10,350ft. The pilot, possibly affected by early-stage hypoxia, lost situational awareness and flew into the mountainside. Contributing factors included excess front seat loading pushing CG beyond limits, windshield condensation, and insufficient operational oversight.
