Summary
An Austrian Air Force Agusta-Bell AB 212 (5D-HV) rolled during lift-off and crashed during a night training exercise near Pramet, Ried im Innkreis. The helicopter possibly caught on something during takeoff. It came down on a crew member who had just disembarked for a hoist training exercise. He was pulled clear with serious injuries. The helicopter caught fire and was destroyed. The two pilots and engineer evacuated. Five crew suffered minor injuries.
