Summary
An Everjets AS350B3 working a wildfire at Cabril, Castro Daire, struck high voltage cables after its second water drop and crashed, catching fire. The pilot, aged 51, was trapped and died. Investigators determined the tail rotor struck a power line crossing a canyon while the helicopter was deliberately flying low over the fire.
