Summary
Approaching the Spazio Building helipad in Zona 15 from the south, the pilot reduced power to control speed for landing when the engine lost power. The helicopter sank to the right and struck the edge of the seventeenth floor, crushing a safety railing. With the limited power remaining he regained control and stabilised the aircraft, then instructed the passengers to evacuate. All three occupants left unaided and uninjured. Investigated by UIA Guatemala as UIA-A-08-2025.
