Bell 206L-4 crash near King Salmon, Alaska, United States

A Bell 206L-4 LongRanger IV helicopter and a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver floatplane collided mid-air while flying within Katmai National Park north of Lake Coville. The helicopter pilot made an emergency landing and was evacuated to Anchorage for medical assessment. The floatplane made an emergency water landing with no injuries to its seven occupants.
