Summary
An AS350BA lost tail rotor control in flight near Owen Roberts International Airport, Grand Cayman, when the tail rotor gearbox actuating rod ruptured. The pilot made a successful run-on landing. EASA issued Airworthiness Directive 2019-0060 in March 2019 requiring inspection of those rods for cracks.
