Agusta A119 Koala crash near Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, India

VT-CLR, severely damaged by a hydraulic failure and uncontrolled yaw at Kedarnath on 24 May 2024, was being airlifted out as an underslung load beneath an Indian Air Force Mi-17, bound for the landing strip at Gauchar for repair. The load was unstable from the start of the flight and was eventually released. The A119 fell and was destroyed. Nobody was on board it.
