Agusta A109C crash near Iaras, Brazil

An Agusta A109C flying from Guararema, São Paulo, to Londrina, Paraná, crashed at night into dense forest between Avaré and Iaras. All three occupants survived with serious injuries, including suspected spinal and leg fractures, and were rescued the following morning by a police helicopter. The aircraft's airworthiness certificate had expired in 2019 and it was not authorised for commercial transport. CENIPA is investigating.
