Mil Mi-8MTV-1 crash near Sochi, Russia

An EMERCOM of Russia Mil Mi-8MTV-1 (RF-32830, manufactured 2012) made an emergency landing in the village of Kalezh in the Lazarevsky District of Sochi after suffering a double engine failure during an aerial patrol. During the autorotation landing, the aircraft sustained extensive damage: the tail boom and tail rotor were damaged, the nose gear and left main gear were broken, the left fuel tank was leaking, the belly was torn, and the main rotor blades were partially damaged. No injuries.
