Helicopter crash near International Waters, International Waters

A UAE Armed Forces military helicopter crashed during a routine flight over international waters, killing the pilot and co-pilot. The UAE military did not elaborate on the location or type of helicopter involved. The UAE is part of the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen and the US-led coalition against ISIS. In May 2016, another UAE military air crash over water killed two during a training exercise.
