Summary
The Qatar Emiri Air Force helicopter crashed into the sea off Qatar during a training exercise conducted as part of the Qatar-Turkey Joint Force Command. All seven aboard were killed: four Qatari soldiers, one Turkish soldier and two Turkish civilian technicians from Aselsan. French reporting attributed the crash to a technical malfunction.
