RotorWay Exec 162F crash near Williams Lake, Canada

An amateur-built RotorWay Exec 162F helicopter (C-GRWY) departed from a location approximately 5nm west of Williams Lake Airport, British Columbia, to conduct off-airport circuits under VFR with the pilot and a dog on board. While conducting a low-level circuit, the helicopter contacted a tree and the pilot made an emergency landing. The helicopter was substantially damaged. No injuries to the pilot or the dog.
