Helicopter crash near Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

An Abu Dhabi Police air ambulance helicopter crashed on 2 October 2021, killing all four on board: the pilots Lieutenant Khamis Saeed Al Houli and Lieutenant Nasser Muhammad Al Rashidi, a doctor, Shahid Farouk Ghulam, and a nurse, Joel Qiwi Sakara Minto, a Philippine national. The crew were on duty at the time. Abu Dhabi Police confirmed the deaths but published no account of the circumstances, and the aircraft type has not been publicly identified.
