Helicopter crash near United Arab Emirates

A UAE Armed Forces helicopter crashed as a result of a technical malfunction during a routine flight within the UAE. Both crew members were killed: Pilot Captain Saeed Rashid Hamad Al Balushi and First Lieutenant Pilot Ali Saleh Ismail Al Tunaiji. A military funeral was held for both soldiers who were honoured as martyrs. The aircraft type has not been publicly disclosed.
