Summary
A Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters Eurocopter EC130 crashed during a sightseeing flight near Peach Springs, Arizona in the Grand Canyon area. The helicopter crashed and caught fire after hitting the canyon floor. Five people were killed immediately, 2 passengers survived with severe burn injuries. The pilot and passengers were British tourists. The NTSB found the pilot lost tail rotor effectiveness during approach.
