Garlick UH1H crash near Boydtown, Australia

On January 9, 2020 about 1620 universal coordinated time, a Garlick Helicopters Inc., UH-1H helicopter, VH-ONZ, lost power and collided with water during an aerial fire control operation at Ben Boyd Reservoir, Boydtown, Merimbula, Australia. The pilot sustained minor injuries. The helicopter sustained substantial damage. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Australia.
