Summary
The air ambulance left Taulí Hospital in Sabadell to attend a patient at Piera, carrying a pilot, a technical crew member, a doctor and a nurse. Landing on sloping ground, the rotor blades struck the helicopter's own upper cable cutter and tore it off, taking part of the lining with it and breaking one of the windscreen panes. One blade was damaged. Nobody was hurt. The investigation found the cause was landing contrary to procedures in a confined area on a slope exceeding the established limits. Final report A-045/2020.
