Eurocopter EC135P2+ crash near Rutten, Netherlands

A Dutch Police Eurocopter EC135P2+ (PH-PXC, manufactured 2009) made a precautionary landing in a field near Rutten, Flevoland, at 01:30 during a night patrol flight from Schiphol after the pilots observed light flashes from the instrument panel, smoke from behind the panel, and a burning smell. The local fire department responded. Fuses behind the panel were found to be the problem. The helicopter departed later that day.
