Airbus Helicopters AS350B3e crash near Oberaletsch Glacier, Switzerland

An Air-Glaciers Airbus AS350B3 helicopter tipped onto its side while hovering during agricultural transport work at approximately 2,500m altitude on the Oberaletsch Glacier near the Fusshörner above Naters, Valais. A 51-year-old Swiss passenger was killed. The pilot and a flight assistant survived with minor injuries. The wreckage caught fire after rolling over. Rescue services including four helicopters responded to the remote crash site. The Swiss Safety Investigation Service (SESE) is investigating.
