Robinson R44 crash near Moscow, Russia

On October 16, 2012, at 1145 universal coordinated time, a Robinson R-44, Russian registration RA-04206, was substantially damaged when it collided with the ground in Bunkovo, Istra region Moscow, Russia. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight was enroute to Plazh, Voronezh region Moscow, Russia, at the time of the accident. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Interstate Aviation Committee of Russia.
