Summary
A Salvadoran Air Force Bell UH-1H helicopter crashed in the Pasaquina municipality of La Union Department while flying from Choluteca, Honduras to San Salvador. All nine on board were killed including Mauricio Arriaza Chicas, head of the Salvadoran National Civil Police. The investigation found the crash was caused by poor weather, bad visibility, and pilot spatial disorientation.
