Eurocopter AS 350B3 Ecureuil crash near Guatemala City, Guatemala, Guatemala

The Ecureuil left Pastoría farm for the helipad on the Reforma Building in Guatemala City. On approach the helicopter suddenly dipped and landed harder than normal. The passenger disembarked and the aircraft continued to the Franconaves ramp at La Aurora, where a post-flight inspection revealed wrinkling at the base of the tail boom. Classified as loss of control in flight.
