Summary
The air ambulance, based at Ettelbruck Hospital helipad, had responded to a road accident between Nothum and Bavigne. Taking off from the off-airport landing site, the main rotor contacted tree branches about nine metres above the ground. The blades were damaged and the flight ended in a hard landing. All four aboard — pilot, technical crew member and medical staff — were uninjured, and the helicopter sustained substantial damage.
