Summary
The LongRanger was flying from Luxembourg to Liège to transfer a patient when it met deteriorating weather and the pilot carried out a precautionary landing. He appears not to have correctly compensated for the strong wind — gusting to around 30 knots — and the helicopter touched down hard. All four aboard were unhurt; the aircraft was destroyed.
