Robinson R22 crash near Halls Creek, Australia

On October 3, 2012, at about 1100 universal coordinated time, a Robinson Helicopter Company, R-22 Beta, VH-LLF, sustained substantial damage when it collided with the side of a canyon near the Halls Creek Aerodrome, Australia. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight was operated under the pertinent civil regulations of Australia. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Australia.
