Incident report
Boeing AH-64D crash near Woodlands, Singapore
minor2010-09-30
Summary
The attack helicopter made a forced landing on open ground between Woodlands Avenue 12 and Woodlands Drive 64, in the north of Singapore, while flying from and back to Sembawang. Both crew were unhurt and the Ministry of Defence reported no damage to civilian property. The emergency was traced to corroded anti-ice start bleed valves in both engines. The airframe was substantially damaged, which is why this is recorded rather than treated as a precautionary landing.
