Summary

A US Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter caused two commercial jetliners to abort their landings at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The incident involved a Delta Air Lines flight and a Republic Airways flight. Both the FAA and NTSB opened investigations. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy described the incident as unacceptable, occurring just three months after 67 people were killed in a midair collision near the same airport.
