Summary
An Airbus AS350 helicopter (HB-ZTM) operated by Mountain Flyers rolled over during a landing attempt at the high-altitude glacier landing site on Petersgrat Mountain in Switzerland. The pilot was killed. This is the same landing site where a Bell 505 would later roll over during landing in April 2025, injuring two. The recurring accidents at this site highlight the extreme challenges of glacier landings at high altitude.
