Robinson R22 Beta II crash near 1nm NE of Billund Airport, Southern Denmark, Denmark

Summary
The R22 contacted trees during a training flight near Billund Airport, coming down from around eight or nine metres. It landed upright but the tail rotor and tail separated from the aircraft. The pilot was uninjured. The accident happened in an area normally used for practice flights near the control tower and did not affect scheduled traffic.
