Summary
A helicopter operated by Northumbria Helicopters crashed in a field near Shanklin on the Isle of Wight during a flying lesson. The aircraft had taken off from Sandown Airport with four people on board. Three were killed and one was airlifted to University Hospital Southampton in serious condition. The AAIB launched an investigation.
