Summary

On May 25, 2017, at 0625 Universal Coordinated Time, a Sikorsky S76, VT-CMM, was substantially damaged when it impacted the ground following a collision with powerlines near the Nilana Helipad, Nilanga, Maharashtra, India. The helicopter was operated under the pertinent regulations of the Government of India. The two pilots and four passengers were not injured.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of India.
