Summary
The Robinson R44 helicopter hover taxied across Runway 28 as a Spitfire IXT was completing its landing roll. The Spitfire's propeller contacted the R44's empennage. Neither pilot was aware of the contact initially, though a bump was felt in the R44. Damage to the helicopter's empennage and tail rotor guard was discovered on inspection.
