Summary

The first fatal helicopter accident in Swiss aviation history. Pilot Raymond Gerber was returning to base at Belp Airport after a passenger flight in a Bell 47G (HB-XAG), the company's first helicopter. While flying low over the river, the helicopter struck the cables of an electrical power line and crashed into the water. All three occupants were killed.
