Bell 412 crash near Guadarranque Reservoir, Castellar de la Frontera, Andalusia, Spain

The Bell 412 was on a firefighting training flight over the Guadarranque reservoir at Castellar de la Frontera, Cádiz. While flying over the water to pick up a load, the helicopter suddenly banked right and plunged into the reservoir, sinking around fifteen metres from the shore. Both crew got out unaided and were uninjured. Investigated by CIAIAC as A-020/2025.
