Eurocopter EC155B1 crash near Den Helder, Netherlands

Summary
A DanCopter Eurocopter EC155B1 (OY-HSL) lost the upper part of its tailfin during flight 30nm north of Den Helder while returning from the Nobel George oil platform. A fatigue crack on the forward attachment fitting caused the upper tailfin to separate. All 11 on board were uninjured. The crew made a safe emergency landing.
