Summary
An RAF 28 Squadron Wessex HC2 flying from Sek Kong to a Chinese fishing vessel in distress during a typhoon lost both engines to heavy ingestion of rain and sea spray. The crew ditched successfully, the floats held, and all four were rescued by another 28 Squadron Wessex without injury.
