Summary
The Bell 412EP ditched in the Mediterranean while returning to Port Said from a Saipem crane vessel. An AW139 located an oil slick on the water with five people floating alongside it in lifejackets, 65 miles north of Port Said. A life raft was dropped and all five were rescued. Classified as loss of control in flight. Investigated by the EAAID.
