Summary
A British Army Scout AH.1 supporting border patrols in the Mai Po marshes was hovering low to pick a swimmer out of the water when its tail rotor struck the surface. The shock sheared the tail rotor drive, the Scout spun and the pilot cushioned it down in four feet of water. All three on board escaped unhurt.
