Bell 206B JetRanger III crash near Siquinalá, Escuintla, Guatemala

The JetRanger took off from the San Antonio Las Flores farm at Siquinalá to carry out agricultural work on the same property. At 10:30 local time, while spraying sugar cane at very low altitude, it suddenly crashed into a clear area with no crops and was severely damaged. Farm personnel extracted the pilot with difficulty as he was in pain from a back injury; he was later airlifted to a health centre in the capital. Investigated as UIA-A-12-2024.
