Summary
A Heli-Services SA315B Lama carrying a 962 kg drilling rig on an 18 metre sling near Siu Lang Shui, Castle Peak, took off downwind at or above maximum weight with a site agent on board to guide the pilot. The load snagged on a bush and began to swing, the helicopter went out of control and struck the hillside. The pilot was killed and the site agent seriously injured.
