Summary

On September 9, 2013, about 1845 Mountain standard time, a Canadian Coast Guard Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm (MBB) BO105-S helicopter, Canadian registration C-GCFU, crashed into ocean waters near McClure Strait, Canada. The three crew members on board were fatally injured.The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada is investigating the accident. As the State of Manufacture of the engines, the NTSB has designated a U.S. accredited representative to assist the TSB in its investigation.
