Summary

On December 30, 2012, at 0645 universal coordinated time, a Bell 407, VT-PHH, registered to and operated by Pawan Hans Helicopter Ltd., experienced a loss of engine power and subsequent hard landing to the Katra Helipad, Katra, India. The helicopter was substantially damaged and the pilot was seriously injured. The six passengers received minor injuries. The helicopter was operated under the pertinent civil regulations of India.
