Bell 407 crash near Mixco, Guatemala, Guatemala

On December 16, 2015, about 1710 universal coordinated time, a Bell 407 helicopter, TG-PJV, sustained substantial damage on impact with terrain near Mixco, Guatemala. The pilot sustained a serious injury and the two passengers were uninjured. The local flight originated from the La Aurora International Airport, near Guatemala City, Guatemala at an unknown time. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of Guatemala.
