Summary
A Leonardo AW169 helicopter (G-VSKP) crashed shortly after takeoff from the centre circle of the King Power Stadium pitch following a Leicester City Premier League match. Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, pilots Eric Swaffer and Izabela Lechowicz, and staff members Nusara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare were killed. The AAIB found a duplex bearing in the tail rotor seized, disconnecting the cockpit pedals from the tail rotor. Leonardo faces a 2.15bn damages claim from the Srivaddhanaprabha family.
