Summary
A privately operated helicopter crashed while attempting to land on Kiwayu Island off the northern Kenya coast. Tail winds destabilised the aircraft, causing it to hit a tree and burst into fire. A British tourist was killed and another person was seriously injured. The helicopter was destroyed.
