Summary
A Flex Air Charters Airbus H125 (5Y-NMJ) crashed into Lake Nakuru shortly after departure from a hotel at 07:45. All five on board were killed. Wreckage was recovered from the lake on November 17. Toxicology results revealed the pilot had an alcohol concentration exceeding the 0.04% legal limit. The investigation concluded the crash was caused by collision with water due to loss of situational awareness by the intoxicated pilot, who failed to recognise loss of altitude and excessive left banking.
