Robinson R44 crash near Sao Lourenco da Serra, Brazil

A Robinson R44 helicopter carrying a bride, Rosemere de Nascimento (32), crashed in a forested area near Sao Lourenco da Serra, approximately one mile from the wedding venue in Sao Paulo state. The bride had planned to surprise her fiance Udirley Damasceno by arriving at the ceremony by helicopter. All four on board were killed: the bride, her brother Silvano Nascimento da Silva, pilot Peterson Pinheiro, and a photographer who was six months pregnant. The groom and 300 wedding guests were unaware of the surprise and were told by the pastor after the helicopter failed to arrive. The 15-minute flight crashed shortly after takeoff. Footage from inside the cabin captured the final moments.
